About Me

Hello, yogi!

My name is Chelsea and I am a 200-hour certified Vinyasa yoga teacher. My ebb and flow as a yoga student for the last ten years has inspired me to teach and take part in this wonderful community.

 

I received my teacher training certificate from Aligned Yoga under the guidance and mentorship of Briohny Smith, and currently registered under Yoga Alliance. Learning from her and her team has been such an honor and privilege, and I hope to be able to support you in your journey as much as she continues to support me in mine.

Right now, I am taking my prenatal and postpartum teacher training with Mamata Yoga so I can help other moms in their pregnancy and motherhood journey. The knowledge, support, lightness, and strength that I gained from my experience and the community is something I want to be able to share and become more deeply involved. 

 

Apart from yoga, I enjoy wall climbing, swimming, and working out at the gym. Cross-training is definitely my jam. 

I am currently based in the Philippines, my home, where I am blessed to be surrounded by my family and the sea, which is what inspired the name Daloy Yoga (dā•loy is a Filipino-Tagalog word, meaning "to flow"). 

By itself, yoga has been such a treat in my life and is my constant ally in being a new mom and a partner, working in corporate, and managing a non-profit for retired working dogs. Life gets so busy that it's easy to forget that we are human beings, not human doings!
